These are my first drawings this semester and it shows what i know about drawing and how i create art.
These are pictures of me learning how to add value and how to shade properly
I practiced my ability to replicate patterns in these pictures
Here i used what i learned from the stippling practice
Here i practiced replicating my own patterns
Here is my 100 patterns drawings. I practiced creating patterns and using them in my final drawing.
Here i drew one of my own pictures and added in patterns to certain areas of the drawing.
1. I Arranged the composition by giving depth to the bricks and showing how they are shaped to show where i am skateboarding.
2.Without the texture and patterns you couldn't tell exactly where i am or what I'm going to skate down.
3.it shows where everything is placed and without it the picture would cause confusion.
4.I started with the stairs and kept working my way up until the building in the back.
5.you have to have dark value to show shadows which shows where the light source is coming from and where it is placed.
6.because without them it would be hard to tell whats going on in the picture.
7.It helped me learn how to show exactly where things have been placed and how to create value and contrast and patterns to do that.
8.add more patterns to the white space to make it smoother

Here i used 4 different water color techniques to recreate the photo
Here is my water color value chart i used more water towards the lighter areas and more color in the darker area’s
This i painted from a technique i learned from the artist that came in and helped us.
1. I poured paint and water onto it and swished it around in layers.
2. Some spots got too much water or paint, and others didn't get enough.
3. How to layer watercolor, how much of water and paint to use, how to properly do this technique, and how to use masking fluid.
4. I would take more time to be more accurate with my color placement.
5. I used layers to get the darkness where i wanted it, textures in the background to make the shoes come out more, and color to show where the legs and shoes are.
6. Yes because i am a visual learner, it made it easier to understand.
7. Yes, it was really helpful having a profesional come and teach us his ways.
8. That everyone has their own unique style, and whatever works best for you is what you should do.

In this, I learned how to blend colors using only primsa colors
In this, I drew certain 3d shapes and used prisma colors to show depth, and how the shape turns.
This is when i first learned watercolor and the techniques you can use
In progress portrait.
finished portrait.
Finished Portrait
1. It wasn't executed too well and its not too neat but you can tell it's a face.
2.I had difficulties blending red yellow and blue to make brown for my hair.
3. yes and it helps you focus more on certain size and details of things.
4. i pressed lighter for a lighter shade and harder for a darker shade.
5. It was hard to get the color i actually wanted but after blending for a while it finally came together.
6. I could have improved it if i had payed more attention to detail and the shape and size of some facial features.
7. I was not prepared to well but i did learn a lot about blending and shading.
8. Lily's was really well done because she took her time and was prepared before doing the project.

in progress pepper food clay project.
1. I believe the craftsmanship was alright, you can clearly tell its a pepper and its smooth and not perfect like a real pepper.
2. Making the peppers look realistic and smooth.
3.Yes
4.Yes, you can see what kind of vegetable it is from all angles.
5. When you do 2D art it's a lot easier to draw or create what you see, but when you make 3D art there's a lot more thought put into making it the art, like how it feels, the size of everything etc.
6. I used some of the clay tools provided to make them smooth but also bumpy for realism.
7.Yes, i took my time on each pepper to ensure that you can tell what it is, and its not too perfect.
8. A better food choice. now that i know how to use clay i'd like to do different food items.

I practiced recreating a picture with paint.
1. it was pretty neat and well executed, you can definitely tell its a pepper.
2. the hardest part of this project was making the clay food as realistic as possible.
3.yes, its the right color red and the leaves are dark green like a real pepper.
4. yes and it looks real from all perspectives. it has some imperfections but they help it make it look better.
5. its alot more responsibility to make sure that everything all around is right. it takes a lot more planning and time.
6. i used some of the sculpting tools to smooth out the peppers and my hands to make the shape.
7. Yes, it looks like a real pepper and there is one split in half so you can see the inside.
8.. nothing i love my peppers and the way they came out.
